Update on CTC’s COVID-19 Food Relief Effort in the Mullaitivu and Batticaloa Districts of Sri Lanka.

May 1, 2020.

On Thursday April 29th, a total 100 families from Karuvelankandal and Puliyankulam villages in the Oddusuddan DS Division of Mullaitivu District received the food relief packages from Tamil Canadians. Also, a total of 50 families in Thannamunnai in the Eravur Pattu (Chenkalady) DS Division of Batticaloa District received food relief.

Both these relief efforts were sponsored by Printfast (Canada) and implemented by the North and East Economic Development (NEED) Centre.
