The Canadian Tamil Congress (CTC) extends its warm congratulations to the Liberal Party of Canada on securing the mandate to form the next federal government following the 2025 election. We recognize the trust placed by Canadians in their leadership and wish the Prime Minister and the entire team success as they move forward in shaping the future of our country.

CTC also proudly congratulates Tamil Canadian representatives for their success in this election. We commend Hon. Gary Anandasangaree, former Legal Counsel of CTC, on his re-election to Parliament, Ms. Jaunita Nathan, former Vice President of CTC, on her historic first-time election to the House of Commons, and Hon. Anita Anand on her re-election. Their victories reflect the growing political engagement and contributions of the Tamil Canadian community to the democratic fabric of Canada.

As a non-partisan, nonprofit organization committed to promoting the interests of the Tamil Canadian community and Canadian society at large, we look forward to working collaboratively with the newly elected government. We are hopeful that this government will respect the people’s mandate, prioritize the needs of all Canadians, and continue to build a country founded on principles of unity, inclusion, and prosperity. We also believe that the new government will address ongoing economic and political challenges in a way that fosters Canada’s growth, strengthens its global standing, and ensures long-term prosperity for all Canadians.

2025 கூட்டாட்சி தேர்தலில் வெற்றி பெற்று அடுத்த கனடா கூட்டாட்சி அரசை அமைக்கும் வாய்ப்பைப் பெற்றுள்ள லிபரல் கட்சிக்கு கனடிய தமிழர் பேரவை தனது இதயப்பூர்வமான வாழ்த்துக்களை தெரிவித்துக் கொள்கிறது. மக்களால் வெளிப்படுத்தப்பட்ட நம்பிக்கையை மதித்து, நாட்டின் முன்னேற்றத்திற்கு புதிய அரசு உறுதியுடன் செயற்படும் என நாம் நம்புகின்றோம்.

இத்தேர்தலில் வெற்றி பெற்ற தமிழ் கனடிய உறுப்பினர்களுக்கும், கனடிய தமிழர் பேரவை பெருமிதத்துடன் வாழ்த்துக்களை தெரிவித்துக் கொள்கிறது. கனடிய தமிழர் பேரவையின் முன்னாள் சட்ட ஆலோசகரான கெளரவ கரி ஆனந்தசங்கரி அவர்கள் மீண்டும் தெரிவாகி உள்ளார். கனடிய தமிழர் பேரவையின் முன்னாள் துணைத் தலைவராக இருந்த ஜோனீட்டா நாதன் அவர்கள் வரலாற்றுப் பெருமை வாய்ந்த முறையில் முதன்முறையாக பொதுமன்றத்திற்குத் தெரிவாகியுள்ளார். இதனுடன், கெளரவ அனீட்டா ஆனந்த் அவர்களும் மீண்டும் பொதுமன்றத்திற்குத் தெரிவாகியுள்ளார். இந்த வெற்றிகள், தமிழ் கனடிய சமுதாயத்தின் அரசியல் ஈடுபாடு மற்றும் பங்களிப்பை தெளிவாக பிரதிபலிக்கின்றன.

அதேபோல், நாடு எதிர்கொள்கின்ற பொருளாதார மற்றும் அரசியல் சவால்களை திறமையாக சமாளித்து, கனடாவின் உலகளாவிய நிலையை வலுப்படுத்தி, அனைத்து கனடியர்களுக்கும் நீடித்த வளர்ச்சியை உறுதி செய்யும் நடவடிக்கைகளை புதிய அரசு எடுக்கும் என நாங்கள் நம்புகின்றோம்.

கனடிய தமிழர் பேரவை, புதிய அரசின் ஜனநாயகத்தையும் சமத்துவத்தையும் வலுப்படுத்தும் முயற்சிகளில் தொடர்ந்து உறுதியாகக் கைகோர்க்கும்.
